In our small German – Russian group has done the sixth meeting. The times fly so fast. My report considers information about two meetings because we’ve spent not so much time for this. It’s better to spend not so much time but often. We always keep in our mind the interesting things about each other.

In our fifth meeting, we can try to cook Russian breakfast but it was not so special because it was pancakes known for everyone. It was Sunday and we’ve met in Lapinkaari kitchen. During our breakfast, we told about news, common things and so on.

Yesterday was the fifth meeting at TAMK canteen. Our meeting was not so common and we had a special lunch for that (Vegetable burgers). And the topics for speaking were German recipes from Nessi. She has passion about cooking and always have amazing recipes for every case 😀

For example, you can try to cook these bakery products:

Mennään kahville / Let’s go for a coffee (FIN-RUS)

The spring has come and we can spend more time outside! Today was our 9th meeting I’m so interested in the architecture style of Tampere and we decided to go to Tampereen Tuomiokirkko. There are exist a lot of brochures in different languages. It looks really amazing if outside so much light and inside the mosaics become brightness as you can see on the photo.

Then we have visited a local Kahvila Runo. The atmospheric was so cozy and pretty. So I knew about the new places in Tampere and Ranja little bit practiced her Russian language skills.

The Pyynikki observation tower (FIN – RUS)

Hyvää päivää 🙂
Our meeting has done in the traditional place it was the Pyynikki observation tower is a 26-meter observation tower in Tampere. There was the double adventure for the first , it was the Cafe which has its own historic donut recipe which has remained unchanged for 80 years.

And then we went up to the Top. The open top offers a clear view of the city of Tampere as Lake Näsijärvi on the north and Lake Pyhäjärvi in the south. We had luck with the weather the sky was so clear! There was an amazing view of the whole city.
Then we walked around the close area and told about cultural but it was about modern topics from our daily life.

Hyvää!

Waffle times (Fin/Rus)

We had done our seventh meeting. It’s so interesting fact if you start speaking unknown people we could feel more closely after those meetings. The same situation with Ranja we had more official meetings before but now I think it come stay more friendly.
I know that Ranja is very interesting about visiting Moscow. And I thought it should be great to tell about some places because I have been to Moscow more than 10 times. And she explained to me about adjectives in the Finnish language.
Then we tried to look for different and common in our cultures.

Russian breakfast

We had Russian – German meeting in Tuesday. We’ve cooked Russian breakfast – Сырники (Cheese cakes or Sirniki). The cheesecake is a plate of pancakes in the form of pancakes, fried curd pancakes mixed with flour and eggs. Usually cheesecakes are fried in vegetable oil.

Recipe:

  • cottage cheese
  • eggs
  • flour
  • sugar

We shared the summaries and interesting things which happened during the last times. Then we told about typical traditional jokes. It was cozy and simple meeting.

Mustamakkara

Our meeting has done so good! You can stay closer with the culture if you try it “inside”. I study Finnish in my class but language of traditional things open more for us.

Ranja is my guide in the cultural finnish world. In our 6th meeting we spoke a lot about education, jobs, travellings and so on. This isn’t so simple retell about every parts. But if tell in common it was nice.

At the beginning my study when I’ve gone to Tampere I wanna eat black sausages. And we wanted to try almost every time for the our meeting. And we have done it!

Tammelantori is the quiet place for local residents. There was people of all ages and families. In my opinion, this place is fine for weekend times and free time. You can explore the local outdoor living.

The Moomin Museum

I and Ranja have done our fifth meeting. There was in Moomin Museum and I found book about story of Moomins and can know more information about it. So Ranja have took her children. It added a lot of fun because it’s so cool see how children and adult smile together for simple things. That was so amazing before I didn’t know much stories. I was noticing that the Museum very modern there is a lot of hand made by Tove Jansson. Also we’ve listened Moomi stories twice – first Finnish and after that Russian. Unfortunately in the Museum illegal take photos but I saved my tickets from there. It was so good meeting.

Chapter #4 Study should be simple and fun

I have enrolled German class at TAMK University and also I have German – Russian meetings in our small group. And we want to spend the time more productive. Yesterday we learned new vocabulary for the next exams at University. Nessi has explained for us basic prepositions and how we can use this right and gave some advises how use this in everyday life.

For our meetings we have chosen Cafe Pispala. There was so cozy but we have bad choice for food options. I hope that more better for morning if you want to visit this Cafe you should orient for the morning time. Hopfully there’re a lot of puncakes should be there. I was so glad about our meeting with Margo and Nessi after 2 weeks of break. I think for the next time we will choosee better places.

You can explore this place if you want:

We continue our Fin/Rus meetings

So, Moi.

I want to write about our two meetings which were 25 February and 8 March. It was the same meeting for places but different about the contents. Both meetings were in Café and we decided to study there because it’s so cozy and warm area also we can take breaks for talk speaking about our everyday life, cultural and so on.

On our first meetings we studied Finnish books about Moomy. I have known new information which was the reason for formed the Finnish story about Moomy. It’s really interesting because at glance it’s the story for children but it’s not so the true reason is more serious. Of course its interesting find so simple talk behind most important things.

Our second meeting was yesterday. Ranja learn about Business and she borrowed some books from the library for study. I think that we’ve decided spend our time the equal. For one we studied some Russian dictionary and Business grammar and for other some rules about Finnish verbs and also we translatied them. I like spent our meetings in Cafe. Also I’ve tried the new Finnish sweets like yestearday I’ve ate the Cheesecake produce in Finland and ii was a little bit differentt from Russian but so tasty. And after our study we had a little time for disscus about things such as finnish habbits, families. It was great time.

I am waiting for our next meetings 🙂
