Fathers day

I invited the the guys for a very casual  EOTO meeting at my home for fathers day. I made a huge pancake, gathered some snacks on the table and made a pot of quality coffee for us. Finns drink a lot of coffee. Quantity first, quality second…I prefer it the opposite way and I wanted to show Matija and Thomas that good coffee is possible even in Finland 😉

We talked and talked and talked and soon noticed that almost 5 hours had passed and we were still talking. Culture based meeting this was and I noted again how interesting history the central Europe and especially Croatia has compared to Finland. I should’ve had more to say about Finland also, but this meeting was more of a learning and listening experience for me than teaching.

We went through weekdays, times of year and holidays in Finnish, English and German. Also some simple sentences in Finnish using weekdays.
