Me and Sebastian had an online meeting. We decided that the best way to end this course would be to learn how to write letters in Finnish and German. I learned things like how to start  and end a letter, either formally or casually.

Formal start:

Sehr geehrter Herr…
Sehr geehrte Frau…

Casual start:

Lieber…
Liebe…

Formal ending:

Mit besten Grüßen
Mit herzlichen Grüßen

Casual ending:

Viele Grüße
Liebe Grüße

On the pages Sebastian showed me, there were also some useful common phrases I could use if I ever need to write an e-mail to someone in German. (which could easily happen some day)

I think this course has been very useful and fun, I got to meet nice new people, of which some were from totally different cultures than mine. I think the meetings with Sebastian really helped me to understand the German grammar, especially our “verb meetings”. I hope he also met his goal about learning Finnish language.
