Buying Asian Food

We wanted to know how Asian cuisine looks like, so last Friday (29.09.2017), we met at Tampere’s train station and went to an Asian Market in Tullintori to buy some Asian food.

When we arrived to the market, we could see that there were many different sections, one for each Asian country.

We didn’t know what most of the products were, so Loy (the Malasyan boy in our group) explained it to us.

We bought ingredients and sauces for the main plate, and some sweets that we were curious to try.

We learned some vocabulary of the ingredients when buying the food:

After that, we went to S-Market to buy some other ingredients that were cheaper than in the Asian market.

It was interesting to know more about Asian food.

Looking forward next Monday to try it!
